Independent engineering analysis supports economics

A critical mineral vital to US economic security

Financially backed by both Federal & State government

Why Fluorspar?

Why ARES?

Fluorspar is a critical and strategic mineral, widely used in industries such as steel and aluminium production, cement production, the chemicals, refrigeration and ceramics industries. Fluorspar is used in the anode, cathode, and the electrolyte of Lithium-Ion batteries.

North America & Europe are the largest consumers of Fluorspar, with industries reliant on the mineral in China, Mexico, Mongolia/CIS and South Africa. There are no net exporters of fluorspar in Europe and currently no producers in the US.

Industry view is that demand for acid-spar will increase by 4-5% per year over the next 5 years and prices are forecast to increase in the medium to long-term.

ARES Strategic Mining owns the only permitted fluorspar mine in the US. Our vision is to be the leading fluorspar mining company in North America. Our mission is to return fluorspar manufacturing to North America. We carefully select areas rich in fluorspar deposits, to ensure a sustainable and efficient mining process, such as our Lost Sheep Mine in Utah.

ARES is a well supported company and financially backed by the US Government. ARES also has strategic partnerships with major international fluorspar producers, giving the company access to technology, proceedings information, market information, and engineering expertise. We are an innovative company, already in possession of plants, industrial land, infrastructure, buildings, transport, and top personnel. We represent a rare occurrence of a company with no domestic competition, within its industrial space.

As a publicly traded company, we are committed to the exploration, production, and supply of fluorspar, and to our shareholders.

James Walker, CEO

"ARES is a rare opportunity to be part of an early stage company that is returning an entire industry to the United States. The mineral is vital to domestic industry, and we remain the only company actively building the infrastructure and operations to resupply North America and our international partners with U.S. manufactured fluorspar products for the first time in two decades."

DISCLAIMER:
Companies typically rely on comprehensive feasibility reports on mineral reserve estimates to reduce the risks and uncertainties associated with a production decision. Historically, situations where the issuer decides to put a mineral project into production without first establishing mineral reserves supported by a technical report and completing a feasibility study have a higher risk of economic or technical failure, though some industrial mineral ventures are relatively simple operations with low levels of investment and risk, where the operating entity has determined that a formal prefeasibility or feasibility study in conformance with NI 43-101 and 43-101 CP is not required for a production decision.
