ARES hosts successful Inaugural Summit

On July 3, 2024, ARES Strategic Mining held their first inaugural summit. The summit was held online using the Investor Meet platform. All shareholders who previously provided their mailing addresses were sent an invitation in the mail, and all other interested parties were also emailed an invitation, including press and research analysts.

Attendees were invited to submit questions beforehand, and these were answered directly by the CEO during the summit. The summit was the most well attended event that ARES has held so far, with 116 guests attending live and 362 guests watching on-demand at a time convenient to them.

The company aims to do a yearly summit where company direction is shared and the opportunity to ask specific shareholder questions is provided.

CEO James Walker said: “We are very grateful for all of the interest shown in ARES and for those who participated in our summit. Although we are really focused on production right now, we understand the real need to remain transparent and communicate regularly with our very valued shareholders. We hope to continue these forums and encourage any invested or interested parties to get involved."

Key Announcements:

  • Lumps Plant progress: The construction of the Lumps Plant is advancing well, with installation currently underway.

  • Flotation Plant: The fabrication of major components is complete. The plant and steel structures are ready for shipment, due to arrive later this year.

  • Ore body is in sight: The mining team is close to reaching the mineralization zone, with installation of the ventilation system planned.

Project and Market Insights:

  • ARES is transitioning from a junior mining company to a manufacturing company, with plans for expanded mining and increased production in 2024.

  • The company aims to establish a domestic supply chain for fluorspar, reducing reliance on foreign sources.

  • Fluorspar is critical for industries such as steel, aluminum, and hydrofluoric acid, and the rising interest in nuclear energy drives further demand.

Investment Opportunities:

  • The current undervaluation of the junior mining market presents significant investment opportunities. ARES has significantly de-risked the project and is on the cusp of production.

  • The company has garnered substantial interest from U.S. steel and chemical industries for purchasing fluorspar.

DISCLAIMER:
Companies typically rely on comprehensive feasibility reports on mineral reserve estimates to reduce the risks and uncertainties associated with a production decision. Historically, situations where the issuer decides to put a mineral project into production without first establishing mineral reserves supported by a technical report and completing a feasibility study have a higher risk of economic or technical failure, though some industrial mineral ventures are relatively simple operations with low levels of investment and risk, where the operating entity has determined that a formal prefeasibility or feasibility study in conformance with NI 43-101 and 43-101 CP is not required for a production decision.
